Request approval of the Plat for Oakhaven Walk Subdivision (FKA SW 8th Avenue Subdivision) an 18-lot single-family residential subdivision.

The Development Review Committee (DRC) reviewed the proposed Final Development Plan and the Plat at its September 1, 2022, hearing. The DRC recommended approval of the Plat to the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) based on a finding of consistency with Florida Statutes, the Alachua County Comprehensive Plan, and the Alachua County Unified Land Development Code.

Background:

This Plat is for 18 single-family lots on approximately 5.30 acres with associated infrastructure improvements. This development is in the Urban Cluster.  The DRC approved the Preliminary Development Plan on April 7, 2022.

The DRC approved the Final Development Plan on September 1, 2022 and recommended approval of the Plat to the BoCC. Pursuant to Sec. 401.14(b) The Development Review Committee shall review and make recommendations on plats and replats to the BoCC.

The Board of County Commissioners must determine that the Plat is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan, Unified Land Development Code, and the Final Development Plan. The Board of County Commissioners has the authority to approve the reviewed Plat per Section 401.02(e)10.
