Approve the 4th Amendment to the Annual Engineering Service Contract #10835 with Jones Edmunds and Associates, Inc. to adjust hourly staff rates, and authorize the Chair to execute the same.

Prior Board Motions:
On October 24, 2017, the BoCC approved the finance report for RFP 18-115 and authorized staff to negotiate agreements with the three, top ranked firms. Jones Edmunds and Associates, Inc. was one of the selected firms. On February 13, 2018, the original agreements were approved by the BoCC. On September 11, 2019, the 1st amendment to the agreements were approved by the BoCC. On September 22, 2020, a 2nd amendment to the agreement with Jones Edmunds and Associates, Inc. was approved by the BoCC. On October 12, 2021, a 3rd amendment to the agreement with Jones Edmunds and Associates, Inc. was approved by the BoCC.

Contracts will be used on an as-needed basis. Engineering services are included in the department annual operating budgets and capital project budgets. The contract has an annual not to exceed amount of $1,500,000.
