Background:

The FY2022-23 Public Emergency Medical Transportation Program for Medicaid Managed Care (PEMT) funding includes $35,000.00 for additional consulting services from PCG LLC to facilitate the Medicare Ground Ambulance Data Collection System (MGADCS). PCG LLC is currently under contract to assist the County with the annual process of reporting and submitting for the PEMT revenues. The County was notified that Medicaid would be require the County’s participation in MGADCS beginning October 1, 2022. The MGADCS collects extensive data related to cost, revenue, utilization, and other information from ground ambulance organizations. Organizations selected to participate are required to collect and report the information. Precise and complete data is critical to maintaining future revenues from Medicaid and Medicare. The second amendment to the contract with PCG LLC will add the additional consulting services to comply with MGADCS.
