Background:

Agritourism activities have been defined by the Florida legislature in Florida Statutes 570.85 and 570.86 and preemptions have been adopted that limit local government jurisdiction over certain uses that occur on properties with bona-fide agriculture. This presentation will discuss the definition of agritourism, the preemption, impacts the County may regulate and the types of requests we receive in the County that may fall outside of the definition.
