Background:

On April 12, 2022, the Board approved the Sub Grant Agreement, Budget Amendment adopted the Resolution and authorized an interfund loan not to exceed $30,000.00 with the State Division of Emergency Management to provide funding for a Mutual Aid Radio Communications (MARC) exercise.  The original term of the agreement was through June 30, 2022. However, teams were not able to develop and deliver the training by that deadline.  The State has extended the term to August 31, 2022.  Alachua County Fire Rescue held the exercise on July 25 to July 29, 2022 and is currently processing invoices and filing for grant fund reimbursement.
