Background:
Public education, advertising and promotional services are a key resource for the Office of Waste Alternatives, the Office of Waste Collection, and the Rural Collection Centers as they strive to further reduce solid waste disposed of in a landfill, reduce roadside litter, increase recycling, and increase back yard composting. Utilizing a professional advertising and creative agency helps Alachua County convey its message about proper waste management practices in a professional and coordinated manner through resources including print, radio, digital, and television. Frankel Media Group LLC has assisted the County in the production of educational brochures, promotional videos, website development and social media outreach.
Original agreement was effective November 13, 2018 thru September 30, 2020. First amendment is effective October 1, 2020 thru September 30, 2022.
