As Part of the FY20 Budget, the Board approved the request for budget in the General Fund Unincorporated (008.65.6500.554) for the Unified Land Development Code Update Review.
Background:
The Board recently adopted the 2019-2040 County Comprehensive Plan as the culmination of a two year Evaluation and Appraisal process. There are revisions in the updated Comprehensive Plan that require updates to the County’s land development regulations, known as the Unified Land Development Code (ULDC). Additionally, it has been 15 years since the ULDC has reviewed holistically. The ULDC document will be reviewed for best practices and overall usability. The County has contracted with Kimley-Horn & Associates as its planning consultant on this review and update of the ULDC. The consultant will provide the Board a brief presentation on the ULDC update process.
