Request Approval of Alachua County Agriculture & Equestrian Center Site Work - Guaranteed Maximum Price and Corresponding Contract Amendment: $4,749,723 with includes $235,175.00 from the City of Newberry as pass thru funding for Alternate 1 for Fresh and Waste Water Lines.

Prior Board Motions:

Feb. 11, 2020 - Commissioner Cornell moved option A and B and not building the 2nd bathroom (smaller facility) and work with the Youth Fair on the metal building (4:0).

Background:

At the Feb. 11 Board meeting, the Board approved improvements (both new construction and renovations) for the Agriculture & Equestrian Center and adjacent UF/IFAS Extension office and auditorium.  Prior to construction commencing in June 2020, the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for site work must be approved.
