Budget Amendment to create budget for the Santa Fe Park Project #6194107 in the amount of $258,775 and Purchase Order to Bliss Products and Services in the amount of $230,458.48.

Approve the Budget Amendment in the amount of $258,775. Approve the issuance of Purchase Order 2020-1733 to Bliss Products and Services in the amount of $230,458.48.

Prior Board Motions:
February 28, 2017, Board adopted resolution and budget amendment creating a new fund to budget and appropriate the unanticipated revenue related to the November, 2016 voter approved Wild Spaces Public Places (WSPP) 1/2 cent sales tax referendum.

May 28th 2019 the Board approved the resolution and Budget Amendment authorizing/recognizing the unanticipated revenue and approve the amendment to the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).

Fiscal Consideration
Approve moving currently unallocated monies within the Lake Santa Fe WSPP park budget in the amount of $258,775. The monies are available within the overall project.

There are sufficient funds in 021 Wild Spaces Public Places (WSPP) to cover the project, the budget amendment is moving approved funds into the project.

Background:
The Santa Fe Lake Park offers a playground, shade shelters, a restroom as well as boat launching facilities. This purchase is exempt from the County's competitive bidding requirements pursuant to Section 22.3-302(12) of the Alachua County Procurement Code, Procurement of Supplies or Services under Contract with federal, state, or municipal governments or any other governmental agency or political subdivision.
