Recommended Action: Listen to presentation from Department of Health and consider material in the agenda backup. Review emergency orders with County Attorney to determine if E0-50 shall be continued, amended or repealed.
Health Director Paul Myers presented the COVID-19 update
Commissioner Alford asked up the vaccines
Director Myers was unsure as current guidelines are not clear
Commissioner Prizzia asked if presumed cases are counted towards the positivity rate
Director Myers replied that they are not
Chair Cornell thanked Mr. Myers for his work and asked about disparities in positivity rates
Director Myers provided reassurance they are reducing barriers to ensure disparities do not exist.
