Health Department Director Paul D Myers presented the above item.

Commissioner Wheeler, Health Department Director Myers, Chair Cornell, Commissioner Alford, Commissioner Chestnut, and Commissioner Prizzia all presented comments.

Commissioner Wheeler moved to extend the local state of emergency and the emergency order for another seven days.

Commissioner Alford 2nd motion.



Public Comment:

Anthony Johnson and Armando Gundy-Gomez presented comments.

Mr. Johnson requested an update on the concerns raised about the Florence Waste Dump on the eastside of the County.

The motion carried 5-0

Comments:

Chair Cornell, Health Department Director Myers, Chair Cornell, and Communications Coordinator Sexton,

County Manager Lieberman stated the EPD Director Hofstetter and Health Department Director Myers have been collecting data on the Florence Dump site and should be ready to provide it shortly.

Chair Cornell requested that an update be provided on the air and water at the next Regular Meeting whether on County Manager Reports or as an item on the agenda.

Commissioner Prizzia inquired if the County has any information on the School Boards mask mandate.

Chair Cornell stated that the School Board issued an 8 week mandate so it will expire in the middle of October. They are considering continuing the ...
