A Federally Funded Emergency Management Performance Grant COVID-19 Supplemental Agreement to assist Tribes and Local Government with public health and emergency management activites.

Approve the Federally-Funded Emergency Management Performance Grant COVID-19 Supplemental (EMPG-S) Agreement (2 copies), Adopt the Resolution Amending the Adopted Budget, Approve the Budget Amendment, and authorize an Interfund Loan not to exceed $17,862.82

Fiscal Consideration
The EMPG-S grant is a reimbursement grant that will require an interfund loan for cash flow purposes for an amount not to exceed $17,863. The agreement will require a 50% Local cash match as Federal funds cannot be matched with other Federal funds. Alachua County Emergency Management General Fund will be utilized for the required cash match. This grant will allow for an additonal $17,863 in grant revenue that will be expensed for alternate EOC infrastructure to promote more social distancing for operational coordination.
