Prior Board Motions:
June 23, 2020: Commissioner Cornell moved the following:
1. Staff move forward with increasing code enforcement efforts and report back to the Board by email or at the next meeting with what their activities were and number of warnings issued and citations issued. All 8 enforcement personal will be used for 7 days a week enforcement with overtime allowed.
2. Staff begin implementing a Level 2 enforcement with the inclusion of Level 1 A - Signage requirements at entry.

Level 2 - Patron/Public Mask Requirement and Educations

A. Define priority locations by policy.
B. Enforcement reminder and education outside establishment.
C. Issue a "Warning" that states the violation and penalty for violations, resembles as closely as possible to official citation.
D. Includes a statement as to why the requirements is in place.

Level 1A Signage requirements at entry. (The signage should emphasis distance requirements.)
3. Staff make face coverings available to businesses that request them at some point and report back to the Board with the plan.

Background:
After the June 23, 2020 Board meeting, County Emergency Order 2020-30 was amended to include a requirement that businesses post signage about the facial covering mandate (First Amendment to Emergency Order 2020-30). Prior to the July 4, 2020 weekend, the Chair amended the First Amendment to Emergency Order 2020-30 to include (Second Amendment to Emergency Order 2020-30):
