Background:

Alachua County Fire Rescue received a donated reimbursement from the GRIT Foundation for the purchase of two (2) Chest compression devices and two (2) Powertraxx stair chair stretchers.  The GRIT Foundation mission is to generate community-based support for local first responders and hometown heroes.  The equipment will primarily be used at the University of Florida stadium to provide better access and care during large-scale events.

The reimbursement is for $56,606.21 which is $41,843.20 for the two chest compression devices and $14,763.01 for the two stair chair stretchers.  This reimbursement was unanticipated in the FY22 Adopted budget.
