Background:

The Department of Fire Rescue has utilized ESO emergency medical reporting software since 2019.  ESO software is also utilized for Fire Inspection tracking and hydrant maintenance.  The current agreement expires on August 27, 2022, however, it allows for two (2) additional three (3) year terms.   The Fourth Amendment will extend the term to August 27, 2025.

 

June 11, 2019 Item #13 the Board accepted the Public Emergency Medical Transportation (PEMT) Reimbursement and allocated funds to replace the software and hardware related to the EMS Patient Care system

August 27, 2019 Item #19-0147 the Board approved the agreement with ESO for the replacement of the EMS Patient Care Software System

November 12, 2019 Item #19-0563 the Board approved the First Amendment which added Fire Inspection program and increased the Not to exceed Cost accordingly

August 25, 2020 Item #20-0650 the Board approved the Second Amendment which added the First Watch Interface and increased the Not to Exceed Cost accordingly 

January 11, 2022 Item #22-0019 the Board approved the Third Amendment which added to the Scope of Services for the Hydrant program and increased the Not to Exceed Cost accordingly
