Public hearing to set the rates for Stormwater Non-Ad Valorem Assessment for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 and authorize the Chair to certify the Non Ad Valorem Assessment Roll to the Tax Collector.

Prior Board Motions:
Resolution 2022-69 was approved of on July 12, 2022, to set the rates for the Storm water Non-Ad Valorem Assessments and authorize provision of the notice to affect property owners on the Notice of Proposed Taxes (TRIM)

The Stormwater Assessments rates of a $40 Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU) will generate a maximum estimated $1,889,715 in revenues.

Background:
The Stormwater Assessment was adopted by the Board and implemented as a funding source for Stormwater - Water Quality improvement and Drainage Maintenance programs.
A resolution is required to set the Tentative Stormwater Assessment rates that was included in the TRIM notices.
Current Board policy for the allocation of the Stormwater assessment funds is a 50/50 split between EPD Water Quality improvement programming and Public Works Drainage Maintenance activities.
