Background:

Alachua County has adopted impact fees for Fire Protection, the Parks System and Transportation.  Additionally, the County has an adopted Multi-modal Transportation Mitigation (MMTM) program. State statute requires impact and mobility fees be based on the most recently available local data. NUE Urban Concepts is under contract to conduct a nexus study for the County’s Impact Fees and MMTM.  This item is a workshop to discuss the initial results of the ongoing impact fee and MMTM update study.
