Whitehurst & Sons, Inc., in the amount of $1,116,083.45, plus a contingency amount of $111,608.35, for a total fiscal impact of $1,227,691.80, as the lowest, most responsible and responsive bidder meeting specifications.

The total Agreement plus Contingency amount for project 9177902 is $1,227,691.80. The available budget is $1,364,478.06, dispersed amongst account numbers: 341.79.7910.541.63.99, 350.79.7916.541.63.99, 353.79.7910.541.63.99 and 341.79.7910.541.63.01. This is sufficient for the contract.

Background:
The scope of the project is to resurface the NW 16th Avenue from 13th Street to Main Street and to reconstruct the signal at NW 2nd Street. The 16th Avenue resurfacing project includes limited sidewalk and curb ramp replacements to meet ADA requirements. Work is expected to commence in October, 2019 and reach completion in Spring 2020. All work will be completed between the hours of 6:30 PM and 6:30 AM.
