Background:
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) administers the Small Cities (CDBG) program and distributes CDBG grant funds to the states.
The Housing Assistance Plan (HAP) is required for the Community Development Block Grant program to delineate the procedure for program implementation. The County applied for and received $750,000.00 in grant funds to assist with very-low and low income household to make owner occupied repair/replacement.
The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) approved the Housing Assistance Plan (HAP) on 08/15/2019.
