Approve the Sole Source and issuance of a Purchase Order to Strykers Sales Corporation, in the amount of $272,406.44, for the replacement of stretcher equipment on six (6) rescue units for the Fire Rescue Department. Prices, terms and conditions are per approved Sole Source.

Prior Board Motions:
October 11, 2022, Board approved the allocation of funding ($447,000.00) for stretcher upgrade, replacement, and maintenance from the FY2022/23 PEMT funding. Item #22-874.

Fiscal Consideration:
Fiscal Consideration
There is $331,263.45 remaining of FY2022-23 PEMT funding for stretcher upgrade, replacement, and maintenance ($447,000.00-$115,736.55). This purchase is to replace an additional six (6) stretchers for $269,576.00 (001.54.5450.526.52.00 #6195410-FY23 $6,386.00 and 001.54.5450.526.64.00 #6195410-FY23 $263,190.00). The purchase includes a credit of $27,000.00 for trade-in value. The recurring maintenance for the Power Load systems is approximately $500.00 per unit higher than the existing maintenance. The Department will work with the budget office to include in future continuation budgets as additional units are replaced and systems are upgraded.
