May 25, 2021 - Commissioner Alford motioned to send back Cuscowilla Environmental Learning and Retreat Center, Cuscowilla Nature Park and Retreat Center, Cuscowilla Nature and Culture Learning Retreat, Cuscowilla Nature Park and Retreat Center. Commissioner Prizzia made the substitute motion to send Cuscowilla Nature Park and Retreat to the friends of Cuscowilla (Motion carried 5-0).
Jul. 14, 2020 - Commissioner Wheeler moved to rename Camp McConnell to Cuscowilla and add the appropriate language based on the use such as Camp, Education Center, etc. (5:0)

Background:
At the June 18 Friends of Cuscowilla meeting, the Friends voted unanimously to request “Nature & Retreat Center” as the naming convention for Cuscowilla. This name will assist staff in widely marketing the facility to out-of-county visitors.
