Description:

Request approval of the Plat for Oakmont PD Phase 5A and 5B -  a 178-lot single-family residential subdivision that is a phase of the Oakmont Planned Development.

The Development Review Committee reviewed the proposed Final Development Plan and Plat at its November 4 2021 hearing. The DRC recommended approval of the Plat to the BoCC based on a finding of consistency with Florida Statutes, the Alachua County Comprehensive Plan, the Alachua County Unified Land Development Code, and Final Development Plan.

Background:

This Plat is for 178 single-family lots on approximately 65.13 acres with associated infrastructure improvements. This property is located primarily within the Urban Cluster.

The DRC approved the Final Development Plan on November 4, 2021 and recommended approval of the Plat to the BoCC. Pursuant to ULDC 401.17(b) The Development Review Committee shall review and make recommendations on plats and replats to the BoCC.

The Board of County Commissioners must determine that the Plat is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan, Unified Land Development Code, and the Final Development Plan. The Board of County Commissioners has the authority to approve the reviewed Plat per Section 401.02(e)10
